Virtual Academies
Currently we offer Virtual Academies options for 7-12th grade students.
Our Junior High Virtual Academy (JHVA) meets two day per week program and offers both morning and afternoon class options.
The course are standards-aligned and are taught by caring, supportive, and experienced credentialed teachers.
The program offers:
- Live, online instruction 2x per week (55-minute classes)
- Mentoring/support through weekly learning labs, academic conferences, grading, community building
- A curriculum that is designed to prepare 7th and 8th-grade students for rigorous, academic high school coursework
Our High School Virtual Academy (HSVA) offers 4 years of a-g English, Social Science, Math, and Science as well as Spanish, Art. and Leadership electives.
All of our HSVA teachers have a single-subject credential in their subject area and are considered to be highly qualified teachers. They all have experience working with homeschool students and in an online learning environment; and are trained to safely and effectively use Zoom, Schoology, and Edgenuity to enhance the learning experiences of our students.
HSVA offers three different options for learning:

synchronous virtual classes through Zoom and Schoology

asynchronous online learning through Edgenuity

asynchronous offline learning through McGraw-Hill textbooks and Schoology
