Dual Enrollment

Clarksville's partnership with Yuba College began during the 2021/2022 school year. Starting with just nine classes, the program has since expanded to offer 16 unique courses, created exclusively for students enrolled in our schools.

Designed with homeschooled students in mind, our Dual Enrollment courses are taught by professors who understand their unique needs. This exceptional opportunity allows students to pursue higher-level academics without the social pressures of a traditional college environment. Students enrolled in Dual Enrollment courses will benefit from academic rigor, support, and a strong sense of community with their high school peers.

In its first year, 9% of Clarksville's high school students participated in Dual Enrollment courses. Today, that number has grown to 22%, highlighting the increasing interest and success of the program.

Concurrent Enrollment

Through our Concurrent Enrollment Program, Clarksville students can take college courses at any of California’s 115 community colleges, as long as the equivalent course is not offered through our Dual Enrollment program with Yuba College in the same school year. With such a broad range of options, students have access to diverse college-level classes. To enroll, students must meet the college’s admissions requirements and course prerequisites. High school counselors are available to guide students through the application process, ensuring that the selected courses earn college credit, meet high school graduation requirements, and align with their future goals.
